St. Florian Monastery

Illustrative interpretation of a large baroque organ with silver pipes in an abbey church. St. Florian

The Baroque monastery of the Augustinian Canons south-east of Linz is closely linked to Anton Bruckner: he was a choirboy, teacher and abbey organist here and is buried beneath the great organ of the basilica – the Bruckner Organ. The basilica, Marble Hall and library regularly host concerts, especially of Bruckner's music.

Please check concert dates and tours with the monastery.
