RIEDEL Glass Museum & Glassworks

Illustration of a glassblower at a furnace, with wine glasses and a decanter in the foreground. Kufstein

At the Kufstein headquarters of the Riedel glassmaking family you can see how wine glasses and decanters are made. The family's history goes back to 1756 in Bohemia; after the Second World War Walter and Claus Josef Riedel took over a glassworks in Kufstein in 1956 – today's Tiroler Glashütte. The museum tells the story of eleven generations of glassmakers.
