Bregenz Festival House and Lake Stage

The Bregenz Festival has been held on the shore of Lake Constance since 1946. It is best known for its lake stage, regarded as the largest in the world: the audience sits on land while the sets rise out of the water. There are also performances in the Festival House, which outside the festival season is used for concerts, congresses and events.
