Ambras Castle Innsbruck

Illustration of a pale Renaissance castle with red roofs in a landscaped park. Innsbruck

Archduke Ferdinand II of Tyrol enlarged this Renaissance castle above Innsbruck in the 16th century and installed his famous cabinet of art and curiosities here. Today Ambras belongs to the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna. The Spanish Hall, one of the most important Renaissance halls, hosts concerts, especially of early music.

Please check concert dates and opening hours with the castle.
